Working principle of capacitive bushing

Basic Structure:

A capacitive bushing typically consists of a conductive central core (usually a metal rod) surrounded by an insulating material (such as silicone rubber or epoxy resin). The insulation is further surrounded by an outer conductive layer or a grounding shield.

Capacitive Element:

The capacitive bushing acts like a capacitor.
